About Avirose
My Story - The Northeast Connection
Myself, Ritu Gupta, a nature lover, am a Doctorate in Botany and during the excursions related to my research work, have closely observed the flora of the North- Eastern Himalayas. The designs created by me reflect a strong influence of the North-Eastern Himalayan landscape, as well as its rich variety of flora and fauna.
Before I started my entrepreneurial journey in 2022, I had spent a significant part of my life in the North-Eastern region of India, moving from Jalpaiguri, Siliguri, Kalim Pong, and Darjeeling. The pristine mountains and the smiling happy people of the region left an unforgettable imprint on my mind. It is here that I found my adopted mother Meera Tamang, under whose loving care my twin boys grew up. My project AVIROSE is my tribute to her and all the people of the North-East, the people who are as beautiful and pure hearted as nature’s bounty of this region.

Going by our tagline. "Simply Sophisticated”. our designs stand out without being flashy or loud. We make sure that our products appeal to the heart. For its all about making a house feel like home have a team of women most of them from humble rural backgrounds„ working under my supervision, where they learn to create subtle embroidery patterns on fabric and finally sewing these according to the standard sizes of home furnishings.

Avirose, meaning, a strong woman leader is all about enabling a woman to set an atmosphere of peace and happiness in the home she resides; an environment That allows every family member to have a sense of blissful comfort, combined with enthusiasm and plenty of positive energies. We, as team Avirose, strongly believe that a woman with her immense power of creation should no circumstances be a liability, rather she should be an asset to her family and society as a whole.
